Getir has entered the Spanish market by starting to serve in Barcelona and Madrid

Continuing its growth in Europe, Getir announced that it has entered the Spanish market by starting to serve in Barcelona and Madrid after England, Netherlands, Germany and France.

Bringing market products to users in an average of 10 minutes by starting a first in the world in Turkey in 2015, Getir continues its global growth journey. Getir, which acquired the Spain-based grocery delivery application BLOK for the first time in July last year, started its service in Spain with Barcelona and Madrid.

Getir, which started to serve in a wide region in Spain by expanding its product portfolio and supply chain and opening 19 warehouses in a short period of two months, plans to expand to new cities in a short time.

In the first six months of 2021, Getir received a total investment of close to $1 billion, reaching a valuation of over $7.5 billion. Currently serving in London, Liverpool, Birmingham, Manchester, Cardiff, Brighton, Bristol and Southampton in the UK, Amsterdam in the Netherlands, Berlin in Germany and Paris in France, Getir aims to set the standards of the business model it pioneered in the countries and cities it has just entered. It has been reported that the next target of Getir, which continues on its way to become a global brand, is Italy and Portugal. Getir, which plans to enter the American market in the last quarter of the year, will have started its service in 9 countries abroad within 1 year.
