DS Automobiles’ sedan model DS 9 increases its claim in the Turkish market with its expanded equipment and the newly added DS 9 OPÉRA E-TENSE 250 to the series.
DS Automobiles’ new model in the premium sedan segment, DS 9 OPÉRA E-TENSE 250, is available for sale in Turkiye.
According to the statement made by the company, DS Automobiles’ sedan model DS 9 increases its claim in the Turkish market with its expanded equipment and the newly added DS 9 OPÉRA E-TENSE 250 to the series.
New DS 9 Opera E-TENSE 250, which started to be sold in Turkiye with prices starting from ₺3 million 449 thousand 200, includes the new multimedia system DS IRIS SYSTEM as well as the redesigned instrument panel within the scope of the updated hardware of DS 9.
DS Automobiles begins to offer E-TENSE technology in DS 9 after DS 7. The new DS 9 OPÉRA E-TENSE 250, offered for sale in Turkiye, has a 200 horsepower, 4-cylinder PureTech engine accompanied by an 81 kW (110 horsepower) electric power unit.
With a 15.6 kWh battery, it offers fully electric driving for up to 85 kilometers on the WLTP urban cycle or 75 kilometers on the WLTP combined cycle. 7.4 kW charging power support allows charging from 0 to 100 percent in 2 hours and 23 minutes. With electric support, the CO2 emissions of the new DS 9 OPÉRA E-TENSE 250 vary between 22 and 23 grams/kilometer, while the fuel consumption approved according to the WLTP combined cycle is 1 liter/100 kilometers.
Featuring the latest technologies with the new DS IRIS SYSTEM
DS IRIS SYSTEM, introduced in DS 9, offers ease of smart device use thanks to its fully customizable, intuitive and modern interface. The high-resolution 12-inch touchscreen displays a menu of widgets to access all functions with a single gesture, controlling navigation, ventilation, digital audio sources and all driving data.
Its hardware attracts attention
The OPÉRA collection introduced in DS 9 has also been expanded. The top equipment level is offered with many standard technological equipment such as the camera-supported adaptive suspension system DS ACTIVE SCAN SUSPENSION, the second level semi-autonomous driving feature DS DRIVE ASSIST, DS DRIVER ATTENTION MONITORING and the extended safety package.
It also includes the comfort-oriented, optional FOCAL Electra sound system, sleep-type headrests on the rear seats, ‘first class armrest’ for rear passengers offered as standard, a boss button that allows the driver or rear seat passengers to slide the front passenger seat forward for use with a driver, a reinforced dual-zone automatic air conditioning system that can be controlled from the rear seat, and front and rear seats with heating, massage and ventilation functions. In addition to the DS Lounge, there is also a retractable glass roof and an electric tailgate with hands-free access function.

With a length of 4.93 meters, a width of 1.93 meters and a height of 1.46 meters, DS 9 provides a large living space for the passengers in the rear section with a wheelbase of 2.9 meters, which is rare in its class. These dimensions of the model also allow for a more dynamic and elegant design. The 12-inch central media screen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support ensures a high-end smartphone experience in the car with its resolution, fast responses and practical interface, while the 12-inch digital instrument panel sets the reference point in its class with its rich customization options.
