We have differentiated in our industry every period with consumer-oriented product innovations. In the last two years, we have increased our work even more. We have launched a large number of new products that will appeal to different consumption moments, comply with the trends in the market and direct the market. We carried this innovative approach to our holiday products.”
Reminding that Ulker Ece Trio will meet with consumers for the first time during the holiday, Turhan made the following evaluations:
“Ulker Ece is one of our products that left their mark on the fest. We are presenting the “Ulker Ece Trio”, which is the innovation of this year, to the consumers for the first time. Ece Trio combines all the hazelnuts in its content, white on top and cocoa cream of milk chocolate at the base, bringing together three flavors in the same product. Ulker’s favorite product in confectionery, Kremini Mini, has appeared on the shelves with its special gift package. In addition, Ulker Cikolatin, one of the classic flavors of the holiday, and Ulker Select Chocolate, consisting of white and milk chocolate in the form of a seashell, Inspired by Caramio, Laviva mini treats and traditional Turkish delight in confectionery, Lokumcuk, which we produced for the first time with lemon, tangerine, blackberry, apple, pomegranate, watermelon varieties, Ulker Toffe Gum Mastic, caramel, strawberry, lemon and cherry varieties will continue to add flavor to the holidays.”
Online shopping will continue
Stating that online shopping is used more intensively, Turhan noted that they prepared options that include chocolate and confectionery souvenirs together so that consumers can send their loved ones who live far away and cannot visit, just like last year.
Turhan shared the following information about the points that consumers should pay attention to when buying chocolate and confectionery and in terms of storage conditions:
“The methods followed during the production of chocolate and confectionery are of great importance. The storage conditions of the consumers become just as important when it comes to the taste of the products. The confectionery must be stored under 30 degrees Celsius, in room conditions, in a cool place without sunlight. Chocolate packaging is an important element in terms of preserving the taste of the product and eating experience. The packaging must seal and wrap the product very well, preventing it from exposure to air and light. It is important that the surface of the chocolate is shiny and smooth and it melts easily in the mouth. Cocoa butter in chocolate has a very special and delicate crystal structure, so it is sufficient to keep it in a cool environment at 18-22 degrees. It should not be kept in the refrigerator.”
