Export figure is around $30 per kg for electric buses

Continuing its activities in partnership with PPF Group, which is also a shareholder of SABANCI Holding and Skoda Transportation, TEMSA achieved significant results in production, sales and exports despite the negative effects of the pandemic.

At the same time, it reinforced its pioneering role in electric vehicles with the firsts it realized at home and abroad. TEMSA, which sold approximately 2,000 vehicles in 2021, increased its exports by 144%. It has exported vehicles to 18 countries. Emphasizing that TEMSA is also a pioneer in value-added exports in its sector with its technological products, CEO Tolga Kaan Dogancioglu said, “The kilogram unit value of our 2021 exports to our country is approximately $1.3. This is around $10-11 in our sector. When we look at TEMSA’s exports, while this figure is around $20 for conventional vehicles, it even exceeds $30 dollars for electric.”
