TARIS has determined the olive oil purchase price for the 2023-2024 season as ₺295 per kilogram.
Hilmi Surek, President of TARIS Olive and Olive Oil Association, said that the product purchase price is important in terms of the producer being able to get the reward of his hard work and finding the value of the product.
Stating that the price they announced will be decisive in the market, Surek said:
“Accessing quality and real olive oil will be of great importance for everyone in the current season. As always, the most important goal of our Association is to safely deliver the quality olive oil it receives from the producer to the consumer. We will monitor market movements and price developments during the season and make new regulations if necessary.”
