“A PROJECT BASED ON THE OTTOMAN SULTANS”

Kadir Kir, the headman of Karaagac District of Altinordu district, where the 330-meter-long viaduct is located on the project, reminded that this road dates back to the period of the Ottoman Sultans. Kir said, “This project, which was carried out as the Dereyolu project in our region, is a project based on our sultans in the past. With the great support of our Ordu Metropolitan Municipality Mayor, Dr. Mehmet Hilmi Guler, he brought a lot of things to our region, both socially and economically. In the future, it is also possible to build an industrial zone here. We think that when combined with this, it will cause a great economic development and social activity in the region. It was a project that was said to be 7 hours away from a city like Antalya, which has a shortcut route to the Central Anatolia and Eastern Anatolia Regions. With a port to be built in Ordu in the future, it will probably add a lot of value in terms of employment.”

“THANKS TO THE SUPPORT OF OUR GOVERNMENT THE ROAD PROJECT IS GREAT”

A citizen named Tuncay Kir said, “We believe that the project is very beautiful. There is a movement in our region, it is said that it will go to the Aegean in 6-7 hours. There is very little space left to do. There is a tunnel at 25 points and a viaduct here. Every place up to Mesudiye came to life. While those in the Mesudiye district did not come to the center of Ordu before, they now leave here 3 days a week, and come here in 55 minutes. With the support of our state, this road has become this way, it is said that it was drawn by the Ottoman Sultan Abdulhamit in the past.”

Hulis Kir said, “This is the connection between the Mediterranean, Southeastern Anatolia, Aegean and Central Anatolia Regions,” and added, “It is a road with 25 tunnels and viaducts of more than 300 meters. Especially our President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has a great effort on this road.”
