Turkish business association to host ‘diplomacy, gourmet’ meeting

Event aims to improve relations of Black Sea Economic Cooperation member countries, trade, gastronomic tourism

Turkey’s Independent Industrialists and Businessmen Association (MUSIAD) will host the ‘Diplomacy and Gourmet Meeting’ with the participation of representatives from the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Organization (BSEC) countries.

The meeting aims to improve relations between Turkey and the BSEC countries, boost international trade diplomacy activities, and encourage gastronomic tourism, according to a statement by MUSIAD.

In addition to Turkey’s Deputy Foreign Minister Faruk Kaymakci and MUSIAD head Abdurrahman Kaan, Istanbul consul generals and trade attaches of 11 BSEC member countries will attend the event.

At the meeting, the countries represented by the trade attaches will make presentations on topics such as business and investment opportunities, advantageous sectors, ways to develop trade, export and import products, solutions to commercial problems, visa and travel procedures.

The meeting will be held on June 22 in Istanbul.
