Turkiye’s LPG imports decreased by 3.13% on an annual basis in October

Turkiye’s LPG import decreased by 3.13% in October compared to the same month of the previous year, falling to 279 thousand 442 tons.

According to the “Liquefied Petroleum Gases (LPG) Market Sector Report” of the Energy Market Regulatory Authority for October, the countries from which LPG is imported by refinery and distributor license holders are Algeria, the USA, Russia, Kazakhstan, Greece and Georgia.

LPG imports decreased by 3.13% in October compared to the same month of the previous year, reaching 279 thousand 442 tons.

During this period, LPG exports by refinery and distributor license holders increased by 60.06% and reached 47 thousand 968 tons.

Exports were made to 11 different countries and regions, including Greece, Switzerland, Tunisia, Romania, Lebanon, Marshall Islands, Ukraine, TRNC, Bulgaria, Austria and Turkish free zones.

LPG production decreased by 6.29% in the same period, reaching 87 thousand 742 tons.

Total LPG sales made by distributor license holders in October compared to the same month last year were calculated as approximately 350 thousand 546 tons.

In the month in question, autogas ranked first in sales with a market share of 82.8%. This was followed by cylinder LPG sales with 13.92% and bulk LPG sales with 3.29%.
