Borsa Istanbul shows strongest quarterly performance in 11 years, tweets finance and treasury minister
Turkey’s stock exchange, the Borsa Istanbul, posted a 29.9% rise this April-June, its strongest quarterly performance in 11 years, Turkey’s finance and treasury minister said on Thursday.
Confidence in Turkey and the Turkish market is growing every day,Berat Albayrak tweeted.
While Borsa Istanbul’s BIST 100 index on March 31 ended the first quarter at 89,643.71 points, on June 30 it closed out the second quarter at 116,524.80 points.
