Academic Sight, one of the initiatives of the Center for Information Commercialization (BTM), has developed a program called InspectAI, which moves quality control systems based on manual human observation from human observation to camera observation with artificial intelligence.
The program developed by Academic Sight allows the detection of surface-related quality defects such as scratches, dents and tears on the surfaces of the parts coming out of the press, not with the human eye, but with artificial intelligence-supported cameras. According to the information shared on the initiative’s website; The application areas of the program include metal and steel, leather, glass and marble surfaces, as well as textile and furniture production.
