TurkTraktor exported domestic tractors with Tier 5 emission engines

According to the statement of TurkTraktor, the company has had many leading operations in different sectors. TurkTraktor has been producing engines since 1994 and completed the production line of 500 thousandth engine last year. TurkTraktor exports New Holland T4S and Case IH FarmallA tractors to Europe, both of these models have Faz 3B emission level; the company developed these tractors within Tier 5 emission standards under European Union rules and started exporting them.

Design and production of Tier 5 engines are made in Turkey

European Union countries will make the usage of the engines with Tier 5 emission levels obligatory soon and TurkTraktor has developed the appropriate engines even before this regulation.

R&D Centre of TurkTraktor is composed of Turkish engineers; these engineers have completed the design, development and testing processes of the Tier 5 engines. The serial production of new generation domestic engines is started in Ankara engine production facility.

New Holland and Case IH tractor models with Tier 5 engine are exported for the first time to European Union countries like Germany, England, Italy and France.

‘’We brought in something new to the sector.’’

Aykut Ozuner, the general manager of TurkTraktor, stated that the company stands out in the market both as a leader and a pioneer; he talked about the Tier 5 engine:

‘’ The Tier 5 regulations will be practiced in Europe soon. TurkTraktor engines are developed in latest technology, we started producing them in our facilities last month after the studies of our engineers. We are happy to produce engines conforming to Tier 5 standards for agriculture industry. Firstly, we exported 10 tractors with Tier 5 engines; this trend increases more and more, our exports and production will continue.’’
