BIST 100 index gains 10 points from previous close
Turkiye’s benchmark stock index opened at 2,403.52 points on Monday, gaining 10.12 points, or 0.42%, from the previous close.
Borsa Istanbul’s BIST 100 index was up 2.05% to finish at 2,393.39 points on Friday with an all-time high close.
The US dollar/Turkish lira exchange rate stood almost unchanged at 14.7439 as of 10.15 a.m. local time (0715GMT).
The euro/lira exchange rate was also almost unchanged at 16.0391 on the first transaction day of the week.
International benchmark Brent crude oil stood at $100.45 per barrel with a 2.3% daily loss, while the price of gold was at $1,944 per ounce a 0.14% decline.
