Accordingly, with the Decision Amending the Decision Regarding the Application of Additional Customs Duty on Imports, electric cars have been added to the list showing the products that will be subject to additional customs duty on imports. 8703.80.10.00.00 The additional customs duty rate, which was 10%, was increased to 20% in the import of electric vehicles with Customs Tariff Statistics Position (GTIP) under the heading “Only those driven by an electric motor”.
The decision will take effect after 15 days.
