AKO Wheels, which is part of the AKO Group, has become the official wheel supplier of IVECO.
According to the statement made by the brand, AKO Wheels will supply 15 thousand wheels to IVECO in the first stage, and this number will double to reach 40 thousand in the second year. Aiming to further the cooperation, AKO Wheel aims to increase its supply numbers over the years with new projects to be developed and new agreements to be made.

Superior performance in innovation and automation
Ozcan gave information about the products to be supplied within the scope of the agreement with IVECO and said, “We will supply wheels in two different sizes for IVECO. One of them is AKO Wheels’ series for the current 9.00×22.5 size truck group. First of all, the 9.00×22.5 rim, which is our Outboard Valve Truck Wheel, will be sold. This series will be used in IVECO’s Stralis model.
In addition, we will make a new investment for the other series in 5.5×16 size. After the mold investments to be made for IVECO Daily, we will carry out the production and supply processes. In the first year of our cooperation, we will supply 15 thousand products. With our new investment, we will increase this number to 40 thousand in the second year.’
Ozcan underlined that this cooperation took place as a result of AKO Wheels’ successful technical audit. ‘Our successful performance in the fields of production process and production stages tracking, defect tracking, quality process tracking, traceability, innovation and automation within the scope of the audit has resulted in us becoming IVECO’s official wheel supplier.’
