Turkish Technic Inc. announced its financial results: Increased its market share to $1.34 billion

Turkish Airlines (THY) Technic Inc., which is among the most important companies in the aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) sector on a global scale, increased its market share to 1.6% with a revenue of $1.34 billion last year.

Turkish Technic Inc. announced its financial reports for 2021. Accordingly, the company achieved a growth of 15.7% in 2021 compared to the previous year, generating a revenue of $1.34 billion and increasing its market share to 1.6%.

The company, which quickly overcame the most severe crisis of the aviation industry due to the epidemic and the negative impact in 2020, received a base maintenance authorization for the C-D hangars at Istanbul Airport in 2021.

BASE MAINTENANCE SERVICE PROVIDED FOR 672 AIRCRAFTS

Performing the base maintenance activities of Boeing 787 type aircraft for the first time, THY Turkish Technic Inc. increased the number of landing gear maintenance numbers by 40% and expanded its maintenance and repair capabilities in this area. The company, which provided base maintenance services to 672 aircraft last year, provided maintenance-repair services to 216 landing gear and more than 100 thousand components.

Turkish Technic Inc. General Manager Mikail Akbulut stated that they are very happy with the growth they achieved in 2021, after one of the most challenging years the aviation industry has faced, and said, “While the average turnover of the MRO industry decreased by 28% compared to the figures before the pandemic, our company reached 88% in 3rd party revenues in this process. “We will realize our growth plans by continuously increasing our capacity, capabilities, customer portfolio and number of personnel. We are determined to exceed the growth and income level we achieved in the pre-pandemic period until the end of 2022.
