In the Turkish automotive market, the market share of automatic cars reached 89.3% in the January-March period. All F, E and D segment cars consist of automatic transmission cars.

In the Turkish automotive market, sales of automatic transmission vehicles continued to rise in the January-March period of this year. It is stated that this increase is also due to the fact that the global production of automatic transmission automobiles is higher than that of manual transmission.

According to data compiled from the Automotive Distributors and Mobility Association (ODMD), Turkiye’s total automobile and light commercial vehicle market grew by 25.2% in the first quarter of the year compared to the same period of 2023, reaching 295 thousand 519 units.
