Turkiye’s gold imports from Switzerland increased in October and November compared to the previous month.
According to data on the website of the Swiss Federal Customs Administration, Turkiye imported 8.8 tons of gold from Switzerland in November. Gold imports from this country in October were 7.7 tons.
Due to the effect of the measures on gold imports, gold imports from Switzerland dropped below 7 tons in September. However, October and November pointed out that gold imports from this country increased again.
Switzerland’s total gold exports in November decreased due to the rapid decline in demand in India. The country’s total gold exports in November were 109.7 tons. In October, this export was at the level of 151.3 tons.
The country’s gold exports to India decreased by 67% to 16.4 tons in November. In the same period, sales to China increased by 10% to 25 tons.
While the UK’s gold imports from Switzerland increased from 3.2 tons to 8.6 tons, the USA’s gold imports decreased to 0.4 tons.
