Turkish gaming industry has received $2.4 billion investments

According to the ‘’Digital in 2020’’ report of We Are Social, there are 4.54 billion internet users around the world and this is equal to 59 percent of the global population. These users averagely spend 6 hours and 43 minutes daily on digital platforms; 1 hour and 10 minutes of this time is composed of gaming.

Newzoo International BV posted report for gaming market, they stated that global market share of games that are easy to play and download is increased by 9.3 percent and valued at 160 billion dollars this year.

According to the data of Turkey Game Developers Association (TOGED), the export figure of gaming industry was 400 million dollars in 2015; it increased to 500 million dollars in 2016, to 700 million in 2017 and to 1 billion 50 million dollars in 2018.

Game developers in Turkey have had 426.7 million dollars of financial support for the last decade; these developers have had many different supports like advertisement, promotion, digital market, software and employment.
