Turkish companies can use Indonesia as a base to penetrate into the Asian market: Indonesian minister

Hadimuljono, Indonesian Minister of Public Works, said that he will promote the Turkish investors.

In the online business forum of Turkish-Indonesian Contracting Sector where also Turkish minister of commerce Ruhsar Pekcan participated, Hadimuljono invited Turkey to take part in the development of Indonesia and the related Indonesian projects. He emphasized that the progress in the relations between these countries’ companies is important.

Hadimuljono, mentioning that he will promote Turkish firms to cooperate with Indonesian projects of various sectors, added:

‘’Using of Indonesia as a base to penetrate into the Asian market, will provide you to be in the limelight more.’’

Hadimuljono, reminded the Indonesian President Joko Widodo’s instructions to make the regulations regarding the foreign investors more convenient and said that Turkey can make use of these instructions in different sectors.

Hadimuljono mentioned that they also offer high-way works as a present opportunity for example; ‘’ Trans Sumatra’’ which is a highway work in the island of Sumatra and is estimated to be finished within 5 years.

By stating various projects that is present and planned in Indonesia, Hadimuljono gave a lot of information about substructural projects such as highway and barrage starting from the state of Ace, which is located in the western area, to Papua that is located in the eastern area of the country.
