Figure up 0.3% from previous month
The Turkish central government’s gross debt stock totaled 3.12 trillion Turkish liras ($210.7 billion) at the end of April, official figures showed Friday.The Treasury and Finance Ministry’s data showed the figure was up 0.3% from the previous month on the Turkish lira basis.
The gross debt stock includes the outstanding debt of public sector institutions,the Turkish Central Bank, private companies and households.
The US dollar/Turkish lira exchange rate was 14.81 as of April 30.
