Turkish automotive industry exported more than $ 1 billion of passenger cars in the 11-month period

Sector representatives, approaching the export figures of the same months of 2019 in the June-November period, sent passenger cars to 69 countries last month. The exports of the sector representatives were valued at $ 1 billion 166 million 584 thousand in November 2019, and $ 1 billion 8 million 189 thousand in the same month of this year. As in previous months, European countries took the lead in the sector’s exports in November.

Last month, exports to France, where the most exports were made, increased by 54.9 percent compared to November 2019, and rose from $ 136 million 756 thousand to $ 211 million 834 thousand. Exports to Italy, one of the important markets, ranked second, decreased by 12.38 percent compared to November 2019, to $ 11 million 324 thousand. Sector representative made $ 76 million 308 thousand of exports to Germany.
