Codeshare agreement signed between Turkish Airlines and Vietnam Airlines

A codeshare agreement was signed between Turkish Airlines (THY) and Vietnam Airlines.

According to the statement made by the Turkish Airlines Press Office, with the agreement, passengers of both carriers will be provided with alternatives for flights to other destinations connecting Turkiye, Vietnam and Istanbul.

Vietnam Airlines Hanoi-Da Nang-Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh-Da Nang-Ho Chi Minh flights can be operated with the code “TK”.

THY’s Istanbul-Hanoi-Istanbul and Istanbul-Ho Chi Minh-Istanbul flights can also be operated with the “VN” code.

THY General Manager Bilal Eksi, whose views were included in the statement, stated that both flag carrier airlines signed the codeshare agreement and further strengthened their solid cooperation.

Noting that more guests will be able to visit these two unique and beautiful countries, Eksi said, “In addition, this agreement will contribute to both airlines with the increasing capacity and product diversity in the coming period.”

Vietnam Airlines Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Le Hong Ha, stated that the agreement offers more options and benefits to passengers, and said, “The agreement will make a great contribution to Vietnam Airlines and THY’s flight network expansion and service diversification. This cooperation will support economic, cultural and tourism activities between the two countries by making it convenient for more travelers to visit Vietnam and Turkiye.”
