The Board of Directors of Turkish Airlines (THY) has decided to establish an air cargo company that is a 100 percent THY affiliate.
In the statement made by THY to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP), the following were recorded:
‘’ It was decided to establish an air cargo company with a 100 percent THY subsidiary in order to strengthen our position among the most important players of the sector by making the most of the unique competitive advantage of Turkish Cargo and to create a separate platform for potential strategic international partnerships in the future. Besides quick steps will also be taken in increasing the focus on cargo operations by our Board of Directors, developing focused strategies such as new product development and vertical integration.’’
