BIST 100 continued its downward trend on the last trading day of the week.
While the BIST 100 moved horizontally with a downward trend throughout the day, by the end of the day, it started moving around 8,820 points with a decrease of over half a point.

If the BIST 100 closes below 8,883 points today, it will not have seen a positive closing for the week and will close the week with a decrease of over 3%. Today, tourism, electricity, and communication sectors performed positively in BIST. Insurance, holding, information technology, and petrochemicals were the sectors that declined the most with over 1% decrease. Banks, on the other hand, experienced a decrease of close to 1% today.
