Turkish Central Bank Reserves Reach $126.3 Billion, Reflecting Economic Trends

Total reserves of the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkiye (CBRT) decreased by $2 billion 162 million in the week of April 19 compared to the previous week, falling to $126 billion 284 million.

CBRT announced weekly money and bank statistics.

Accordingly, as of April 19, the Central Bank’s gross foreign exchange reserves decreased by $2 billion 989 million to $67 billion 11 million. Gross foreign exchange reserves were at the level of $70 billion on April 9.

During this period, gold reserves increased by $827 million, from $58 billion 446 million to $59 billion 273 million.

Thus, the total reserves of the Central Bank decreased by $2 billion 162 million in the week of April 19 compared to the previous week, falling from $128 billion 446 million to $126 billion 284 million.
