Turkey-Azerbaijan Trade Volume Reaches $7.65 Billion in 2023, Marking 31% Growth

The foreign trade volume between Turkey and Azerbaijan reached $7.65 billion in 2023, marking a significant 31% increase compared to the previous year, according to annual data shared by the Azerbaijan State Customs Committee.

Turkey, following Italy, became the second country with the highest trade volume with Azerbaijan, according to the annual data released by the Azerbaijan State Customs Committee. Azerbaijan achieved a trade volume of $15.68 billion with Italy and $7.65 billion with Turkey.

Russia secured the position of the third country with the highest trade volume with Azerbaijan, amounting to $4.35 billion.

In 2022, Turkey and Azerbaijan had achieved a trade volume of $5.84 billion. With the 2023 figure of $7.65 billion, the trade volume between the two countries increased by 31% compared to 2022.

According to the data provided by the committee, Azerbaijan reached a mutual trade volume of $51.18 billion with 193 countries in 2023.
