The duration of the petroleum exploration licenses of the Turkish Petroleum Corporation (TPAO), covering an area of 77 thousand 247 hectares in Siirt, Sirnak and Adana, has been extended for 2 years.
The decision of the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources, General Directorate of Mining and Petroleum Affairs, was published in the Official Gazette.
Accordingly, it was decided to extend the license of TPAO covering an area of 61 thousand 927 hectares in Adana from 18 April 2023 to 18 April 2025. It was decided to extend the license to cover an area of 15,320 hectares in Siirt and Sirnak provinces from April 4, 2023 to April 4, 2025.
