Economists surveyed by Anadolu Agency forecast 8.38% increase for November
Turkiye’s calendar-adjusted industrial production index for November 2021 is expected to rise by 8.38%, according to an Anadolu Agency survey done on Friday.
A group of 10 economists surveyed by Anadolu Agency projected an increase compared to the same month in 2020.
The estimates for the month ranged between 6.7% and 11%.
The experts also estimated that the unadjusted industrial production index for the month would rise 9.92% on an annual basis.
While the adjusted industrial production index climbed 8.5% on an annual basis in October last year, it rose by 0.6% on a monthly basis. The unadjusted industrial production index also rose 5.36% year-on-year.
The term “calendar-adjusted” is used to refer to data where calendar and holiday-originating effects are removed.
The Turkish Statistical Institute or TurkStat is due to release official figures on Thursday.
