Türk Telekom secures 200 million euros financing from China

For the financing of its new investments, strategic initiatives, and growth plans, Türk Telekom has signed a long-term credit agreement worth 200 million euros with the Bank of China and The Export-Import Bank of China. Istanbul In its disclosure to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP), Türk Telekom stated, “In the scope of Sinosure insurance for financing the investments, strategic initiatives, and growth plans of our Group, a long-term credit agreement worth 200 million euros has been signed between our Company and the Bank of China and The Export-Import Bank of China.”

The final maturity date of the loan is reported to be March 2029, with an annual interest rate of euribor + 1.50 percent, including insurance premiums and other upfront costs, the total cost being annual euribor + 3.37 percent.
