New Regulation: Customs duty will not be charged for some seafood products

In the decision published in the Official Gazette, it was stated that customs duty would not be charged on many seafood products such as Nile bass and poppy fish.

The scope of products that will benefit from the reduced customs duty has been expanded with a group of seafood products.

The Presidential Decision on Amending the Import Regime Decision was published in the Official Gazette.

Accordingly, some seafood has been added to the products that will benefit from the reduced customs duty within the scope of the end-use application.

With the regulation, tariffs will not be charged on a number of seafood products such as Nile perch, coal fish, shallow-water halibut, Argentinian halibut, Alaskan haddock, poppy, gilt flounder, Mediterranean squid.
