Turkey’s 2023 trade volume target with Pakistan is $5 billion

Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEIK) Turkey-Pakistan Business Council Chairman Ahmet Cengiz Ozdemir stated that a target of $1 billion was set for the trade volume in the first place and $5 billion in 2023. He added saying, “With the signed Strategic Economic Framework, the Action Plan and Articles for the development of trade and investment relations were determined. I think that mutual trade will gain momentum rapidly in this way.” Ozdemir stated that the trade volume was $889 million last year and that the current trade volume does not reflect the potential.
