The best-selling car brands in Turkiye in July 2023 have been announced. The report shared by the Automotive Distributors and Mobility Association (ODMD) also contains some statistical information on car sales last month.

ODMD shared a report containing very important statistical information for July 2023. According to the shared report, the automobile and light commercial vehicle market increased by 115.4 per cent in July 2023 compared to the same period last year. It was stated that the sales amount reached 112 thousand 459.
Car sales increased by 109.4 per cent in July compared to the same period last year and increased to 85 thousand 916. Light commercial vehicle sales increased 137.5 per cent compared to July 2022. The sales amount was announced as 26 thousand 543 units.
There was an increase of 83.1 per cent in car and light commercial vehicle sales compared to the ten-year average sales in July. Considering the 10-year average July sales,car sales increased by 79.5 percent, while the light commercial vehicle market increased by 95.7 percent.
A total of 18 thousand 478 Fiat brand vehicles, including passenger cars and light commercial vehicles, were sold last month. The popular car manufacturer Fiat thus achieved a great success by positioning in the first place of the list.
In the second place of the list was Volkswagen, which sold a total of 11 thousand 892 vehicles last month. In third place is Ford. The company managed to sell 11 thousand 656 vehicles last month. The list includes many companies, including Chery, Opel, Renault and Citroen.
