THY Technic will maintain Emirates Airlines’ aircraft

Turkish Airlines (THY) Technic will provide base maintenance services to 17 Boeing 777 aircraft in the fleet of United Arab Emirates-based airline Emirates.

According to the statement made by the THY Press Office, a new aircraft maintenance contract has been signed between THY Technic Inc., one of the world’s largest aircraft maintenance and repair service providers, and Emirates, the United Arab Emirates-based airline company with the world’s largest Boeing 777 fleet.

The new agreement will come into effect as a continuation of the 5 aircraft maintenance contract signed between the parties in April.

Maintenance of the first aircraft will begin in July

In line with the agreement, THY Technic will provide base maintenance services to 17 Boeing 777 aircraft in Emirates’ fleet. Under the agreement, maintenance of the first aircraft is planned to begin in July.

THY Technic General Manager Mikail Akbulut, whose views are included in the statement, stated that they continue to strengthen their cooperation with Emirates Airlines, “Building on the success of the aircraft maintenance contract we signed in April, this new agreement not only reflects Emirates’ confidence in our services, but also highlights the parties’ commitment to excellence. As a competent provider of maintenance and repair services in the aviation industry, we are excited to continue our collaboration with our quality and reliable services for Emirates’ Boeing 777 fleet.”
