Turkey will direct Libya’s civil aviation

Civil aviation trainings will now be given by Turkey in Libya, where Turkey intervened in the civil war and changed the balance with Bayraktar TB2 SIHAs produced by Baykar Defence.

In the coming days, technical infrastructure support for civil aviation trainings and institutional structuring will begin for Libyan Civil Aviation Authority employees, which will contribute to the ongoing relations between Turkey and Libya. Within the scope of the cooperation, the organizational structure of the said Institution will be shaped in order to update and implement the Libyan Civil Aviation Authority development plans. For this, a team of trainers consisting of DGCA personnel will go to Tripoli in the coming days and train the aviation personnel in the region. At the same time, it will transfer knowledge and experience for the institutionalization of civil aviation in the country.
