In this respect, the HAK, which was established as an indication of the importance it attaches to the issue, signed a cooperation agreement with Azerbaijan, after the friendly and brotherly countries Pakistan and Kazakhstan. With this agreement, an important step was taken towards creating a common and harmonious language among Muslim countries.”

In the statement underlining that during the 1.5 years since it started to accept accreditation applications, a total of 38 certification bodies from 17 different countries (Turkey, Australia, Netherlands, Spain, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, Lithuania, Serbia, Greece, Bulgaria, Azerbaijan, Ethiopia, Brazil, India, Taiwan, Japan) received halal accreditation applications:

“The HAK, whose number of halal certificates under the scope of accreditation is over 425, will share its experience and knowledge with the relevant institutions of Azerbaijan and will continue to support Azerbaijan’s activities for halal quality infrastructure.
