Turkey spot market natural gas prices & electricity prices 2nd week Sept

Spot market electricity prices for Thursday, Sept. 10

The highest electricity rate for one megawatt-hour in the day-ahead spot market for Thursday will be 315.94 Turkish liras at 16.00 local time and the lowest will be 200.00 liras at 06.00 local time, according to official figures on Wednesday.

Turkey’s Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Wednesday’s electricity market showed a increase of 1.24% to 170.47 million liras compared to Tuesday.

The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity on the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 290.43 liras and 293.61 liras,respectively.

The highest electricity price for one megawatt-hour on the day-ahead spot market on Wednesday was set as 311.39 liras at 20.00 local time and the lowest at 200.01 liras at 06.00 local time.

US$1 equals 7.49 Turkish liras at 1122 GMT on Wednesday.

Spot market natural gas prices for Tuesday, Sept. 8

The trade volume of Turkey’s spot natural gas market decreased by 12.8% to 3.79 million Turkish liras on Tuesday, Turkey’s Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data showed on Wednesday.

Total trade on Monday amounted to 4.35 million liras.

On Tuesday’s spot market, 1,000 cubic meters of natural gas cost 1,314 liras, while the total natural gas trade volume amounted to 2.88 million cubic meters.

Turkey received 122.53 million cubic meters of pipeline gas on Tuesday.

US$1 equals 7.49 Turkish liras at 1128 GMT on Wednesday.
