Spot market natural gas prices for Tuesday, August 11

The trade volume of Turkey’s spot natural gas market decreased by 80.2% to 4.81 million Turkish liras on Tuesday, Turkey’s Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data showed on Wednesday.

Total trade on Monday amounted to 24.4 million liras.

On Tuesday’s spot market, 1,000 cubic meters of natural gas cost 1,371 liras, while the total natural gas trade volume amounted to 3,514 million cubic meters.

Turkey received 117.8 million cubic meters of pipeline gas on Tuesday.

US$1 equals 7.33 Turkish liras at 1107 GMT on Wednesday.

Spot market electricity prices for Wednesday, August 12

The highest electricity rate for one megawatt-hour in the day-ahead spot market for Wednesday will be 317.13 Turkish liras at 14.00 local time and the lowest will be 224.34 liras at 06.00 local time,according to official figures on Tuesday.

Turkey’s Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on the electricity market on Tuesday showed a decrease of 3.44% to 175.78 million liras compared to Monday.

The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity on the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 300.74 liras and 302.68 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price for one megawatt-hour on the day-ahead spot market on Tuesday was set as 370.00 Turkish liras at 14.00 and 15.00 local times and the lowest at 224.35 liras at 06.00 local time.

US$1 equals 7.24 Turkish liras at 1137 GMT on Tuesday.
