The duration of the petroleum exploration licenses of the Turkish Petroleum Corporation (TPAO), covering an area of 87 thousand 985 hectares in Istanbul, Tekirdag and Adana, has been extended for 2 years.
The decision of the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources, General Directorate of Mining and Petroleum Affairs, was published in the Official Gazette.
Accordingly, it was decided to extend the license of TPAO, covering an area of 60,374 hectares in Adana, from May 11, 2023 to May 11, 2025, and covering an area of 27 thousand 611 hectares in Istanbul and Tekirdag provinces, from May 26, 2023 to May 26, 2025.
