The industrial production index increased by 0.6% on a monthly basis and by 8.5% on an annual basis in October.
Turkey Statistical Institute (TUIK) announced the industrial production index data for October 2021.
Accordingly, industrial production increased by 8.5% annually. When the sub-sectors of the industry are examined, in October 2021, the mining and quarrying sector index increased by 9.2%, the manufacturing industry index increased by 9.2% and the electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning production and distribution sector index increased by 3.5% compared to the same month of the previous year.
MONTHLY INDUSTRIAL PRODUCTION INCREASED
Industrial production increased by 0.6% month on month. When the sub-sectors of the industry are analyzed, in October 2021, the mining and quarrying sector index decreased by 0.3% compared to the previous month, while the manufacturing industry index increased by 0.7% and the electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning production and distribution sector index increased by 0.1%.
