Economists surveyed by Anadolu Agency predict 38.2% rise year-on-year
Turkey’s calendar-adjusted industrial production index is expected to rise 38.2% year-on-year in May, said a group of economists on Thursday.
Estimates of seven economists surveyed by Anadolu Agency ranged between 35% and 40.50%.
Moreover, economists predicted the unadjusted industrial production index will climb by 38.8% in May.
The term “calendar adjusted” is used to refer to data where calendar and holiday originated effects are removed.
The Turkish Statistical Institute is due to release official figures on Tuesday.
