The password-free transaction limit for contactless payments, which allows payments via cards and mobile devices without requiring any contact, has been increased from ₺750 to ₺1500 as of July 1, 2024.
According to the information received by the AA correspondent, according to the letter sent to banks by the Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency (BRSA), the password-free transaction limit for contactless payments, which was increased to ₺750 on July 1, 2022, was updated after 2 years.
The transaction limit without a password will be ₺1500 as of July 1, 2024.
