According to the Automotive Distributors Association data, a total of 561 thousand 853 passenger cars were sold in 2021. 335 thousand 896 of these cars were imported and 225 thousand 957 were domestic models. The share of imports in the automobile market was the highest in 2013 with 77.9%. After that year, there was a serious decrease in the share of imports. In 2017, the share of imports decreased to 70%. It fell to %66.4 in 2018 and %59.4 in 2019.

44% IN COMMERCIAL

In 2021, the share of imports in the light commercial vehicle (minibus + pickup truck) market was 44%. In the total automotive market (passenger cars + light commercial vehicles), the share of imports was 56.10%. The share of domestic production vehicles remained at 43.9%.
