Daikin Turkiye was deemed worthy of the “Top Exporting Company” award

Daikin became the champion in the “Most Exporting Company” category at the “2022 Export Leaders” awards given by the Air Conditioning Industry Exporters Association (ISIB), and also won the “Most Split Air Conditioning Exporting Company” award.

Daikin became the champion in the ‘Most Exporting Company’ category at the ‘2022 Export Leaders’ awards given by the Air Conditioning Industry Exporters Association (ISIB), and also won the ‘Most Split Air Conditioning Exporting Company’ award.

According to the statement made by Daikin, Daikin Turkiye, which pioneers the air conditioning industry with its environmentally friendly and innovative products with superior technology, was deemed worthy of the export awards given by ISIB this year with its export power.

Last year, Daikin Turkiye achieved 34% growth in euro terms compared to the previous year, reaching €620 million in turnover and €370 million in exports and won two separate awards in ISIB’s ‘2022 Export Leaders’ awards, which reward the companies that stand out in the export market and export the most in 2022.

Daikin, which won the first prize in the ‘Company Exporting the Most Split Air Conditioners’ category this year as well as last year, also won the first prize in the same category in 2019 and 2020. The company, which received the second prize in the ‘Top Exporting Company’ category in 2021, took its success one step higher by receiving the first prize this year.

Daikin Turkiye, which produces a wide range of products from split air conditioners to air handling units in its production center located in Sakarya Hendek and has an important position in the region with its production power, increased its export turnover, which was €261 million in the 2021 fiscal year, by approximately 42% to approximately €370 million in 2022.

‘Our goal is to reach an export figure of €550 million in 2025’

Daikin Turkiye Board Member Zeki Ozen, whose views were included in the statement, stated that Daikin is a company that has made R&D and innovation a corporate culture, and emphasized that innovation is the key to the future and that this is only possible with R&D.

Stating that they invested in a new R&D center building with an investment cost of €3.5 million in order to expand the R&D centers in Hendek, Ozen said:

‘As Daikin Turkiye, we saw the results of the importance we attach to R&D and production in our financial results in 2022, and we crowned these achievements with the awards we received. Our goal is to make our export success sustainable and reach an export figure of €550 million in 2025.
