Turkey: $25.3 billion export from the chemical industry in 2021

The chemical industry became the second largest exporter in 2021.

The chemical industry realized exports worth $25.3 billion in 2021. In December, the sector achieved an increase of 38% with exports of $2.48 billion. The sector reached the position of the second-largest exporting sector in 2021.

Tayfun Koçak, a member of the Board of the Istanbul Chemicals and Products Exporters’ Association, said, “As the chemical industry, we closed the year 2021 with extremely good numbers. Our goal is to continue our steady growth in exports in the new year as well.”
