Turk Eximbank signed loan agreements with Agrobank and Turonbank in Uzbekistan

Trade Minister Ruhsar Pekcan stated that Turk Eximbank signed two revolving-based loan agreements with Agrobank and Turonbank in Uzbekistan for the financing of exports of goods and services for a total of $31 million.

In her post on her Twitter account, Trade Minister Ruhsar Pekcan noted that the number of loan agreements signed between Eximbank and Uzbekistan’s leading banks increased to 5 and the total amount of the agreements reached $170 million.

Stating that with the new loan agreements signed, they aim to support the export of investment goods from Turkey to Uzbekistan more effectively with buyer credits and to increase the foreign trade volume, she added saying, “I wish the agreements to be beneficial to our exporters.”
