According to the data announced by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), the population of Turkey in 2021 has increased by 1 million 65 thousand 911 people. In 2021, the population was determined as 84 million 680 thousand 273. TurkStat announced the population map of Turkey. According to the results of the address-based population registration system for 2021, the new population of Turkey was 84 million 680 thousand 273. While the male population was 42 million 428 thousand 101 people, the female population was determined as 42 million 252 thousand 172 people. On the other hand, the provinces with the youngest population and the provinces with the oldest population were also determined.

Which provinces have the highest and lowest median age? Considering the distribution by provinces, Sanliurfa has the youngest population, with the lowest median age ratio of 20.6.

Sanliurfa was followed by Sirnak with 21.6 and Siirt with 22.7. Our three youngest provinces were these cities.

OLDEST PROVINCE SINOP

On the other hand, Sinop had the highest median age of 41.8. Another province in the Black Sea region, Kastamonu, followed Sinop with 41.2. Balikesir is one of the two provinces with a median age of 41.
