According to the Automotive Distributors Association (ODD) data, the Turkish automobile and light commercial vehicle total market increased by 29.6% in the January-July period of 2021 compared to the same period of the previous year and amounted to 442,550 units. In July 2021, automobile sales decreased by 47.7% compared to the same month of the previous year and became 36,311, while the light commercial vehicle market decreased by 35,8% to 11,538. In addition, the rise of hybrid and electric vehicles continues. At the end of July, 1019 electric and 28,421 hybrid cars were sold. In the January-July period of 2020, 8,129 hybrid and 191 electric cars were sold. So, users prefer automatic or manual, diesel or gasoline.
