TOKI handing over the key to the 1 millionth house

The Ministry of Environment and Urbanization, Mass Housing Administration (TOKI), which has been a warm home for more than 5 million citizens since 2003, has produced 1 million houses. The key to the 1 millionth house of TOKI, which has made low-income citizens without a home with low down payment, low installments and long terms, will be given to its owner with the participation of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, with a ceremony in Ankara Sincan, which will take place on Wednesday, July 7th. At the ceremony, TOKI projects in each of the 7 regions will be connected and turnkey will be made in these areas. In addition to social housing, TOKI also constructs buildings and social facilities needed by cities and public institutions. It met many needs from universities to stadiums, from industrial sites to student dormitories. In this context, TOKI brought a total of 24,503 social facilities to the cities, including 1,276 schools with 27,055 classrooms, 201 student dormitories with a capacity of 79 thousand beds, 21 university buildings, 268 hospitals with approximately 40 thousand beds, 97 health centers, 19 stadiums with a capacity of 480 thousand spectators in UEFA standards, 993 sports halls, 840 mosques, 285 public service buildings and other social facilities.


In line with the concept of “More Green”, 192 of the national gardens, which were brought to life with the goal of at least one national garden in every city throughout the country, are being built by TOKI. TOKI transforms old stadiums as well.
