Central Bank reserves reached the highest level with $140.1 billion

Central Bank reserves have increased by $41.7 billion since the end of May, reaching an all-time high of $140.1 billion.

Total reserves of the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkiye (CBRT) reached an all-time high in the week of December 1, increasing by $3 billion 656 million compared to the previous week, reaching $140 billion 149 million.

Weekly Money and Bank Statistics were published by the CBRT.

Accordingly, as of December 1, the Central Bank’s gross foreign exchange reserves increased by $2 billion 236 million to $93 billion 233 million. Gross foreign exchange reserves were at the level of $90 billion 997 million on November 24.

During the said period, gold reserves increased by $1 billion 420 million, from $45 billion 496 million to $46 billion 916 million.

The Central Bank’s total reserves reached an all-time high of $140 billion 149 million in the week of December 1, from $136 billion 493 million to $140 billion 149 million, an increase of $3 billion 656 million compared to the previous week.

The increase in total reserves between the end of May and the week ending December 1 was $41 billion 691 million, corresponding to 42.3%.
