Within the scope of the “Safe Tourism Certification Program” initiated in the Covid-19 period under the coordination of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, tourists enjoy a safe holiday in the city thanks to the prolonged season.
Tourists from different countries can swim and sunbathe this season at Antalya, famous for its sea, sand, sun as well as its historical sites, natural beauty and touristic bazaars.
Antalya, which is one of the most preferred cities in the world during the pandemic, and is the ‘’Turkish tourism capital’’ in terms of tourist accommodation, hosted 3 million 276 thousand 627 tourists between January 1 and October 31.
Thanks to the measures taken during the epidemic period, the city has become the address of a healthy and safe holiday, the countries that send the most tourists are Russia with 1 million 402 thousand 578 people, Ukraine with 550 thousand 306 tourists, Germany with 335 thousand 485, England with 209 thousand 275 tourists, and Poland with 83 thousand 996 people.
